Hyperfocus: Pepper’s Graduation

And just like that, my oldest girl has another degree! Graduating with her Bachelors in Public Health and a minor in Sociology, Pepper is another step closer to her educational finish line. I spent the weekend up in Bellingham doing proud mom stuff.

In my off hours I camped at Birch Bay state park a few miles north. My big yellow Sprinter van turns neatly into a camper when you take out a couple seats and add a mattress. My mom joined me for the second night with her Subaru wagon and it was heads above a hotel room.

The rest of the kids also finished their school years…sort of. We’ll do math all summer and read loads of books. Violet has made her way through the first six Dungeon Crawler Carl books in a week and a half, and still managed to go to the training to become a teen library volunteer this summer.

Now that I’m back in town maybe these posts will get back on schedule!

Happy Writing this week folks; I’ll see you back here with more book reviews on Wednesday.

Fabulous weekend…. so happy for Pepper, finding her way to her dreams, which for many of us, enhance and refine over our years…. Birch Bay Park gets my thumbs up too! You had quite a cozy set up in your van…
