Hyperfocus: Lists

It is the first week of public school and I may be a tad bit stressed.

Not only do I have to manage getting kids back and forth— between the homeschooling—but it was also the first week of Women’s Chorale, parent meeting for Girl Scouts, and I had to take four hours of classes for my archery instructor exam.

I made lists. Everyday. My hyperfocus was that there was no hyperfocus, just check off items and move on.

Of course extra things happened between my line items; spider mites got into the house and a whole lot of neeming had to take place; while in the Alocasia’s bathroom, I got distracted and mudded some drywall; we ran out of bowls.

We (Team Sasquatch) made it to Friday intact. Everyone got to where they needed to be, we all learned something, and I got more bowls at the Shipley Center garage sale.

List weeks are hard.
